Using HTML on this site?
How do I post questions which include html commands, specifically hyperlinks. Is it the same as for creating web pages or does Answerbank have special tags? Also I've seen many questions which include " but it doesn't actually create a quotation mark!?

To add a hyperlink, I just type/paste the address in and leave a space after it, like so: http://www.futurenoir.com/
I've done hyperlinks like that before but I have seen answers which have links but without the "http:" bit just like they would be on normal sites. The only thing I can think is they are using a tag of some kind?
Anyway below I going to test using the standard html code I would use on a web page and will see what happens. Here goes...
<a target='_blank' href="" target="_blank">http://www.futurenoir.com/">FutureNoir</a>
II've worked it out (if anyone is interested)...
Basically type the hyperlink with the 'http' bit inclusive, then carry on typing. The link will change purple once it has been identified as a hyperlink. Finally go back and edit it. But of a cheat really but seems to be how you do it. Well I'm happy anyway!
If this link works, I just typed it as you can see it, with no tags and a space at the end: www.futurenoir.com .
See what you mean now! Experiment:
Futurenoir
