I heard on the radio that Monty has has a minor stroke and has had to give up `Gardeners World` but haven`t heard anything since. I hope he soon makes a very good recovery and takes things a bit easier in future.

ive never been keen on monty don as a presenter or gardener at all, not a patch on alan titchmarsh or geoff hamilton.

Awwww, my heart goes out to Monty and his family... he's only 52! I too hope he gets better soon, what an awful thing to happen to a young fella... He may not be as good a presenter as some of the others around, but he's still seriously enthusiastic about his subject and that comes shining through.
