Do you think these are going to be a lot cheaper in New York, as I have a friend going there next month and was going to ask her to buy them for me there.

They're much the same price as they are here, you'd also need to get a transformer to convert it to the UK plugs.

My friend was saying the other day that she can`t take hers o the US because the voltage is too high.
