If you go to a Vauxhall dealer you need to take the passcard that gives the key number - you should have got one with the car. Also they will probably want to see the registration document to prove ownership, and some form of ID such as driving licence.
Cost depends on whether you want the remote locking one or not. I had the no remote and I think I paid about 60.
It takes two visits - one to order the key and one to get it programmed to the car. You only need have the car there for the second visit.

I lost the (chipped) key to my 2000 Corsa about 4 years ago. About 2 years ago the spare snapped. I got (an unchipped) spare cut for about 7 & put it on the keyring next to the chipped fob. As long as you hold the fob & the key close together, it works ok. I resent paying that much for a replacement, & yes a Vauxhall dealer will want the V5 & your ID. However, my dealer gave me a mobile locksmiths business card, suggesting it may be cheaper & quicker!
