Do Michelin Stars belong to the chef or the restaurant?
If it`s the chef does he take it with him?

Michelin stars are awarded for the quality of the food in a particular restaurant. The name of the chef is irrelevant (after all, he might well be on holiday when the restaurant is assessed). Similarly, the d�cor could be appalling, the service abysmal and the value for money non-existent. It's the food, and nothing but the food, which is assessed:
