Parktronic Help

I've just purchased a Mercedes C Class and I had parktronic installed - front and rear. The rear sensors work fine but the front ones are a nightmare. If I brake suddenly the front sensors beep (not always but usually). I didn't have a control fitted inside the car. Should they have fitted one so I could switch off the sensors? When I'm in a traffic jam the noise is horrendous!!
Advice desperately needed please.

Really spooky cos you are right. I can now park brilliantly and I don't need Parktronic. But Mr Psychic if MB didn't install it correctly then perhaps I can get my money back!!

as a dealer/motor trader we very rarely fit front sensors, it may be that when you brake the car dips at the front and its picking up the road...just a thought..

Thanks Chas. I'll let you know what my garage has to say when I call them in the next couple of days.
