hogs thigh = Grantham....cow Aberdeen?......and are they all British?

Thanks Birchy.  They are all British.  I think you are right with Grantham but I'm not sure about Aberdeen - one of the other clues was Angus (8) and I thought that was Aberdeen but I could be wrong!

With the anagram one you can make Carmarthan which although should be spelt with an "e" as the last-but-one letter is a common alternative spelling on the Internet but I guess that still makes it wrong but something to consider anyway.
