Can anyone help me work this out please?

In July 06 i requested a price protection thing at 6.02% above their standard rate as 1st March 2006 and received a letter from British gas, stating that this would be actioned from 24th April 06 and my electricity proces would be protected until December 2009.

They then failed to action this. How can i find out how much i could've saved/lost had this been actioned? Appreciate any help in clarifying this? Thanks

Well thats the general idea but i dont know how to work it out. The prices rose 22% from whatever it was in March 06, then down 17% then up a little more.....
I would think energywatch will do that for you as long as you have your bills
