hi everyone have just joined ? i need a question answering my son is 7yrs old and sleeps with me his mum he has lots of health problems from sleep apnea, muscle weakness top half of his body, sensory behaviour ,ashma,night terrors and finally socolious i am in a delema housing assocation will not move me and council have got me on low banding and could wait up 2 10yrs to be rehoused i am a nurse and this is key worker property and single mum of 3 have emailed gordon brown and minster of housing no reponse???? this is how we look after our nhs staff ive been a nurse for 14yrs i have an apeal coming up and need as much info as possible t fight my case any tips out there have help from mp i am stressed out

They might only be able to offer very little, but better than nothing. As long as the child is being cared for, that is the main thing. Speak to your doctor too, make sure he's aware of the situation and let your work know, as an NHS Trust, they should be sympathetic towards you.
I really feel for you, I managed to get a move last year, only through a charity run housing association. I think you need to concentrate on getting your sons needs met, maybe him having a medical assessment would be beneficial to a housing claim, you may even get your banding upped.
I know where you are coming from with the lack of sleep! both of my sons sleep about 2 hours a night, since moving though it has gone up to 4-5 house which is great stuff, I can understand the stress of it especially with the lack of sleep, try to get a break once in a while by getting someone to watch your son whilst you do something for you (long bath or a sleep)
