do any of you live here we have just come back from a week there what lovley countryside brilliant footpaths and bridleways you can work for miles without hardly touching a road,all so unspoilt lovley little villages and sheep, horses and cows everywhere ,the only thing that spoilt it was the rain but you cant rely on the weather

Rutland is it's own county now,it used to be part of Leicestershire but they broke away ages ago.I once went pony trekking around Rutland Water and it was lovely! It is a beautiful little part of our country that seems fairly unspoilt so far.
