Not sure if this is the correct dept for this question but here it is,
What is the difference between "Help the Aged" and "Age Concern".
I presume they are both for OAP matters. Is one for the rich and the other for poor or put it another way advantage and disadvantage. Just interested. TIA

Age Concern seems to be much more involved in older people's rights and lifestyle. They give advice on pensions and other benefits and work with social services to provide home care services - my mum's cleaner, for instance, is provided/employed by Age Concern and the cost is subsidised by social services.
Our local one also has a small library on the premises and also provides a number of day care activities.
