How do I use the BIOS (CTRL-M) config utility to add a pair of 750GB disks as a mirrored pair to my system with a single os disk left untouched?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.by doing just that .... there should also be an option to run the same utility from windows - once you have enabled sata in bios the sata options should be available.
connect the discs ... open the utils ... and link the two discs with the raid version you require.
be aware though that it's a totally different format to "straight" ntfs ... recovering a raid 0 array is a pig and the usual run of the mill disc utils won't work.
now that sata is more "mature" faults are appearing (for me mainly connectors coming loose) and that means repairing the array.
and if a disc fails ... with 0 you loose the lot (not a big problem for gamers ... keep the important stuff on your system disc.
that said ... you will notice a big write speed increase
