my fiance bought a house 3 years ago for himself and his elderly parents, they could not afford their mortgage. now my fiance and i are wanting to buy our own house.
They are on the council bungalow list but have not moved place on the list since last year even though they had the medical evaluation.
Our next idea which we are still discussing but do not know much about is keeping that house for his parents and getting a second mortgage for us, we think we could afford this but not sure how we would go about it.
I was also wondering what other options any one could think of as we are trying to find the best situation to suit us both.
Put the house on the market and give the parents a notice to leave - they can take this to the council offices in the hope it will get them the bungalow.
Move in with fianc and his parents.
Sell the house and buy another with a 'granny flat' for the parents.
