Where I live, gardening seems to be getting very popular again. I can't bear to see people put concrete or gravel down, where there could be grass or flowers. It's killing off wildlife & insects as well.

Ice,Maiden makes sense, A lot of flooding could be avoided if so many people didn`t concrete their gardens as the rain has nowhere to go other down drains which can`t take the volume and overflow back up into the roads. We never had floods as much before every one bought 2....3...or more cars per family. I wouldn`t give up my front garden for my car. Luckily I have a bit of road space.
