saw Lucinda (the downtrodden one on the Apprentice) tonight, they were offering a resume of the lives of the Final Five. Lucinda said that she had 'a bad childhood that she did not want to talk about, but when she severed links with her family things got a whole lot better, even though she feels a family is missing'. Is this ever an appropriate action for some people?

Hell yeah. I know a girl who was from a family that she seriously should have run away from as soon as she learned she could toddle, instead they took the p. and finally wore her out for about thirty five years, also had a disfunctional marriage of inconvenience.
