A 15 year old girl found in london found dead in a lift stabbed 10 times in her front neck and back.
Apparently by her boyfriend.

Is it the norm nowadays amongst young folk that if you break up theers some form of violence or retribution meted out on one by the other ?

Is this a sign of how much bad things are getting on a daily basis?

I'd seriously hope not the norm, such a tragic end and waste of a life though.

There was a similar incident up my way not too long ago with two young people broke up and the guy who stalked and killed his ex in Harvey Nics.

Yes, it's the norm nowadays amongst young folk to stab or shoot your partner upon split-up. The reported cases are just the tip of the iceberg. Given the number of breakups every year, police estimate that there are around 300,000 inter-partner breakup stabbings every year. They recommend that if you do wish to dump your partner, to do so in a busy place like a cafe, and always wear a stab jacket and, if you can afford it, a kevlar helmet.

No, I wouldn't have said murdering or even stabbing your recent ex is on the increase, folks have been mullered by their spurned partners since...well dot really. But like someone has already mentioned, the reporting of them is on the increase.

Exactly legend - and i wonder if the poor girl's parents knew - or even cared? It's terrible.

I meant about the girl having such an older bf - and no, not necessarily. It's about time parents took stock of what their children are doing, and where they are/who they're with, but too many parents can't be bothered to find out.
