My digital scales are not working....

this is both before and after putting in a new battery. Any ideas.....besides the dreaded " get a new one " ?

They reckon stop weighing yourself and the weight will drop off.

pasta, try cleaning the battery contact points inside the scale, they might be a little tarnished and perhaps not making a good connection. A quick scrape with a small screwdriver should do the trick. ;)

I tried what you suggested bravejordy-alas!-no joy..........it looks as if throwing them out is the solution.I thought these things lasted forever...
