PC won't reboot after adding memory
1 Answers
I have an Acer 1362, to which I have just tried to add a 256MB SODIM memory card to the existing 256MB.
Painstakingly followed the instructions, but on turning the power back on, the system won't re-boot (it works fine again if I take the new card back out and just use the current card). The only troubleshooting advice was to check that no cables are loose, which they aren't.
I'm stuck on how to fix this, can someone please help?

What happens if you remove the the original chip and try the new one in it's place on it's own? if that works try the original chip in the second slot and see what happens
OH and make sure you earth yourself by touching a radiator or similar before handling memory as it's easy to destroy them with static electricity
