I need some advice

Ive liked a guy who I used to work with for a while now.  We were chatting by text earlier this week and I admitted I liked him and he didnt seem put off,in fact he seemed quite interested!  We texted each for afew hours that day then the same for two more nights, and things were getting quite er heated.On weds he said he would text me again the next day and he didnt.  Ive since text him a few more times and he hasnt replied!  Hes a really nice guy and he was definately interested so he doesnt seem the type to mess me about.  Ive also found out that thurs and friday he wasnt at work so it could be that hes just ill but its weird.  I know im over reacting, but please tell me what I should do!Help

It sounds as though he is out of communication for some reason - illness, or mabe his phone is off-air. If you have his address, why not drop him s 'get well' card with your land line number and / or your address, and ask him to let you know when he is better. He either will or won't, and then you'll know what is going on. Best of luck.

I would hold fire and wait. This has happened to me before! And it is agony waiting. But if for some reason he has backed off, he will need a bit of space to think. Either way, you have put the ball in his court, and it is up to him to reply to your text now.

I agree with Scarlett - I've got a similar thing going on at the moment, and it is hell waiting for an answer. I'm just trying to get on with things as normal, trying not to keep analysing things, and accepting that if he doesn't call eventually it's because he doesn't want to and there's nothing I can do to change it. Men are notorious for backing off if a woman becomes too pushy, so try not to text him again, if you can possibly help it.
