what is the best insect repellent for the caribbean?

Hiya

I am off to jamaica in 2 weeks time and know that a product called off that you ca buy over there is great.

I land after the shop in the resort closes and therefore cant buy any that day and dont want to get bitten on my 1st night.

is there anything as good or better that i can buy in the uk?

Whenever i go abroad, i use Avon's Soft & Sensual Body Spray (Woodland Fresh / Original). It works everytime for myself and friends.

Thanks for your answer - have you tried it in the caribbean? I have found that most things that work in europe dont work over there and need something tried and tested.

boots to an extra strength insect repellant. My friend used it in the carribean and I used in Kenya - i think it is 50 - 75% deet, cannot remember for def but was their own make and extra strength.
