Quizzes & Puzzles0 min ago
Well first off I am a 20/f living in a student apartment community, surrounded by kids my own age. I met my friend back in September and she turned out to be my first same sex make out partner (finally!!) In addition, shes become a really good friend. Problem is, now that we arent making out as much as we used to, and we are more platonic friends.... and I have gotten to the point where I dont like it when she hangs out with anyone other than me or my roommates and certainly get heated if she hooks up with a guy. I think im obsessed with her.... and its hard to get away from it because she lives across the pathway. What should I do? Help!

Does she still spend time with you? Don't you have other friends or activities to attend to? Its wonderful to feel exclusive to someone else but do you need that kinda attention? Have you talked to her about it?
Obviously you miss her company but to be obsessed is a pretty strong word to use. As a friend, you should understand that she needs to have her own circle of friends, her own space and time. I've friends who are too busy to hang out with me now because of their girlfriends but I don't fret a bit. Because if they could do that to me, they aren't really worth my trust as friends. True friends always make time for each other no matter the circumstances.
You're upset because you're afraid of losing her to someone else. That's normal especially if they're really good friends. But don't take this too seriously though because life goes on and so do you. If you realize the both of you haven't been talking for while then make an effort to breach that gap. Stop asking what to do about your obsession but face the problem head on. Go out for a drink, do things together, whatever works. But if she's not responding, I guess she wasn't meant to stay.
Move on. Trust me, there's someone out there waiting for you.
