why does my internet explorer 6 keep crashing

i have been running intenret explorer 6 for longtime now but just recently it has started crashing on me, anyone any ideas pls. thanks

doesn't really answer your question but download and install IE7 (or firefox if you want a decent browser)

A non-specific answer is it's probably down to one of the fixes MS released.

before I loaded (why I loaded) ie7 was 6 was getting quite unstable where the sort of advertising that appears on AB was concerned.

any flash animations (that's flash fancy - which also includes flash .swf) would take my browser down ... but only if I'd visited certain other sites first ... and sometimes only in a certain order (it sounds like fantasy ... but I could duplicate it )
