How long is appropriate to be placed on hold? I have been on hold for 12 minutes now. Am trying to get put through to customer services in the job centre. Presumeably as I am unemployed it doesnt matter, lol!

LOL, I could well be on the line until next week, still it gives me time to surf until the piglet wakes up. Wouldn't be so bad but they are playing that awful 'tinny' reproduction of classical music on a constant loop and its driving me nuts.

There`s a site which gives you alternate numbers to avoid the 0870 and 0845 numbers

Oh joy of joy, I rang back and told the switch board operator I had been on the line for 23 mins and she put me straight through.

Everything is great weeal. Got the piglet weighed today and she is 12lb 4oz. Actually, she is just at that funny baby stage, laughing and smiling and looking at everything in wide-eyed amazement with not a care in the world.

Awww bless, mines at that stage where she cries at everyone apart from me, her dad and sister! Im out with my daughters class on Tuesday, going on her school trip, Im leaving the baby with my brother but now worrying shes just going to cry :(

Actually psychick she cried with everyone when we were back home (and there was me telling everyone what a good baby she was!!!)

Its great though, especially when she wakes in the morning and she is so happy to see me, all smiles and arms and legs everywhere, quite the opposite response that I get from her father in the mornings, lol.
