Many , many thanks to everyone who entered the recent "Phrases and Sayings" quiz (closing date 31st May) raising �300 for the above charity. You will be pleased to hear that your answer sheets are being posted later today along with a copy of a new quiz for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (to save postage). Thanks hamsterhouse - but for the next five or six weeks my life will be taken over by marking GCSE German scripts, looking after a team of examiners and all the admin which goes with it. Scripts will start arriving on Saturday. After that AB ( certainly ) and crosswords and quizzes ( almost certainly ) will be put on the back burner.

Well I don't envy you novalis I thought marking 104 quiz returns over the weekend was bad enough and as for the German side of things - oh dear not my cup of tea.
It has got a closing date of Sept. - so just in time for the new term ! Well good luck with your marking and have an enjoyable summer - weather permitting !.
