I have timed my typing to 65 words per minute. Is this a good pace for an administrative assistant? How fast is impressive?

I once had a typing test (a few years ago now) and i thought i was half decent at typing.
MY result was around 47 wpm....which i was told was quite good for a guy! lol
So.....i would say that 65 is pretty good.
Not sure what your average admin assistant would come out at, but i would imagine you'd be in with a good shout with 65!

how di you time your self? in typing tests one word is classed as five keystrokes (including spaces) and not measured in actual words

I love this website, I got 70wpm with no mistakes. Cool, I didn't think I was as fast as that! 10 years ago I was measured at 45wpm. How anyone can maintain 120wpm is beyond me, thank goodness I'm not a professional copy typist, that would kill me!
