Is there any evidence that sitting in front of a computer all day is bad for you?

It certainly won't do much for your posture or social life, but more worrying is a recent study by Stockholm University. Researchers found emissions of a toxic chemical - triphenyl phosphate - in ten of the 18 computers they tested. This chemical is used as a flame retardant, and evaporates from computer parts as they start to warm up. Possible reactions to look out for include itching, skin problems, nasal congestion and headaches.
