We have very poor mobile signal in our village. I have seen some mobile boosters on ebay for 99p but it doesn't say how they work or where to put them etc. Does anyone know if they are any good ? The feedback was good in general but some people said they didn't work.

Well at 99p for two with free postage you're not risking a lot.

If people who bought them say they don't work, I would tend to believe them.

Surely to goodness if it was such a cheap and simple solution the mobile phone manufacturers would incorporate it in to their phones.

I'm not worried about losing 99p. I just wondered if anyone on here had ever used one.
the cheap ones do not work, the only way you can boost a mobile signal is to have an external aerial connected to an amplifier that then retransmits the signal at a higher level, and they will cost you a couple of hundred pounds.
