There are loads of limescale products out there including Limelite and I think Fairy do one. But why not try a 'green' method like vinegar or cola ??
vinegar has never worked on my taps, I need a good recomondation too
Vinegar works fine for us. We also us it on mirrors, windows etc. The acid of the vinegar will get rid of the calcium carbonate build up if you give it time.
any of the anti-limescale products work well. my son lives in a hard water area and one of the things i do when we visit him is de-limescale his shower head, taps, stainless steel sink, etc. i use whichever product i come across in the supermarket and they've all worked really well.
If using vinegar, use white vinegar. ! dilute mine 1-1 and leave until the limescale stops bubbleing then wash off and polish to a gleeeeem.
I used to buy Oust limescale remover & found it very good & when I enquired it was still available from the makers direct but only if you ordered something like 6 bottles or more. I bought Limelite (green trigger bottle) from Wilko's & that works well. I have used vinegar but living in a hard water area it unfortunately doesn't do much for the scale that builds up on taps & shower head etc. hope this helps.
i put a good shake of lemon juice in my kettle once a week and boil it up, it removes the scale in that
I use Cillit Bang on everything, it's like magic in my house i'd highly recommend it.
Mr Muscle lime scale remover is brill!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must have really bad limescale then as vinegar does nothing. And cilit bang is pants
4getmenot, i absolutely agree with you,i've found all cillit bang products to be a total waste of money
I cant see that they clean up a penny like they do in the advert
"Viacal" Limescale remover v ery good from Morrisons.
I bought Cillit Bang and had to take it back. When I pressed the trigger it did'nt go BANG! it just went phsst, phsst
