i bought this car few days ago since then the engine light has come on twice, i have check all the connections under the bonnet and see nothing wrong with it. but when u rev the car to 4000 in netural the light goes out for another couple days. any ideals.

when was the last time it had a service and an oil and filter change? (and are you 100% sure that it did have one when you were told it did)

the car had a full service in june 08 as well as an mot. apart from that the car had been standing still for one month before i bought it
