I rather like the 'madding crowd' (to use Thomas Hardy's spelling). I actually enjoy walking along Oxford Street during the Christmas rush and I love crowded beaches ('cos I like 'people watching').
However, one of my favourite quiet places for a stroll, here in Suffolk, is this one:

yep, gotta agree with the lovely Raysparx there, it was truly breathtaking and very magical and being with two of my favourite people on earth kinda helped too!
I went to Liverpool this week too bob and the Liver building gives me goose pimples as does the ferry across the mersey! Walking down Matthew street gives me pimples of the goosey kind too!

nicest place round my way for a walk (and bet Chris knows this one too:)) is Dedham vale
