Warning for Dog Owners - Xylitol

I knew of the most obvious foods not to let dogs eat, and although I wouldnt give mine 'gum' intentionally, I didnt know of the dangers of Xylitol, must admit this link makes frightening reading.

Another 'household' thing that can be fatal is the cocoa mulch you put on gardens, as it contains theobromine, the chemical that is found is chocolate and smells like it so is attractive to dogs. Even a small amount can kill a medium size dog.

thats ok Lankeela..........yes I read about the dangers of cocoa garden mulch only this week.
