Have completed 98 out of the 100 questions but regret failed on two after many weeks of trying :-
He leaves one mixed spirit to swallow another (7 letters)
and
Mix business with pleasure initially - to a point (8 letters)
Answers are liquids or gases
Already bald so no more hair to tear out
Need help in any form please

Now that you have been told the answers, you are all very quick to pass them on. If you had actually worked them out for yourselves you wouldn't be so quick to give them away.
None of you seem to realise that a quiz is a competition,i.e. you versus the rest. You lot have turned another good quiz into a lottery. Why?

This may be a competition but the fun is in participating and not the winning. We have managed to solve the majority of the clues and enjoyed doing it spending many hours in books and on Google. The bit of help is just to finish it off. If the answer sheet is submitted any winnings would be given back to support the Macmillan Cancer charity. Certainly we are not seeking financial gain !

Yes you did tigerfan and thanks - it was the only one I needed and I was grateful and I did go away and work out why unlike some who just take the answers and dont care why and will never learn how to do them themselves
Ivorbiggun you need to target people who are asking again tonight and I have lost count of the number of times they have said they only need 3 more
These people I feel really are down to their last few and have worked at it
Would like to say that I gave bibster those 2 as she helped me with another quiz
We have all had this for a while now and it makes no sense when you say you will give all the answers nearer - either dont give them at all or give them when they are asked

Esmerelda- if you remove rum from the answer you are left with scpy. If you add "he", this is an anagram of psyche .Hope this helps.
