biting budgie

i can now get my budgie to fly to me and land on my finger but all he does is bite HARD! he isnt that old not even a year.. how can i get him to stop? please help!

I've heard that when he bites you, don't show him he's hurt you, don't shout or anything. Eventually he should stop doing it as he's doing it for attention and he's getting it if you make a noise. Not sure if it works though!
