Chester hotels/B&B
Could anyone let me know of any nice hotels that they could recommed in the center of Chester.
Want to take my mum away for a shopping weekend and would want to stay somewhere central.
Would ideally like an older style hotel/b&b rather than a Travel Inn etc.
Any recommendations would be helpful! Thanks x

Ah, good to see my home city putting an appearance in!!!
The Grosvenor is 5*, central and bloody expensive.
I've been in most and can suggest that the Queens Hotel is very nice and reasonable. Its right next to the railway station, the only downside is its a 15 minutes walk into towm.
If you want to be central then similar standards at the Crowne Plaza.
Enjoy your stay - its a fine city.
