Hiya!! Im fed up, there are builders next door doing some demolition work at a nursing home, how the hell they got permission to knock down a half timber building i do not know.
Any way, im puttering in the garden the other morning puting bird food out and doing scatter feeds, when i hear the builders by the pond (which is at the bottom of the drive). I walk round and they drift away leaving there mutt paddling in the pond. Now it was a hot day and she probably needed to cool down but........................
There is broken glass in the pond, every day i pull a bit out not little bits but whole bases and necks of jars and bear bottles.
Plus we have breading newts in the pond and she has probably upset the ecology.
I have triead speaking to them but they act deaf, do i corner there site manager??
Advice wanted, before you ask only two of them are good looking the rest are middle aged and beer belliead!
Go directly to the Care Home Manager. I work within the care invironment, and you will find that most care companies have maybe 2 or 3 building compnies that they use for all their homes.
The builders wont want to lose future work, so I would speak to the care home manager and ask for the contact details of their comany's development manager. Make a complaint to them.
Also keep a record of has been damaged, time noise starts/finishes etc.
Wow spaced!
The care home owner is a bit of a dragon,
the builders start at about 8/9 in the morning and finish promptly at five.
The noise is just about livable with but if you are trying to sleep or do work at home (which I do) its a bit difficult to concentrate.
I have just been down to the pond to do a scatter feed and one of the weir stones ( theres a small dam used to keep water levels up) has been knocked off and strange pools of chemical like foam (might be disturbed newts nests) collecting underneath it. Oh its soooo annoying.
