I'm probably posting this in the wrong place,I don't know.Anyway,here's the question:How do I change 27.27 into a percentage?I got that by dividing 11 into 300.Please help quickly!

Why?
300/11 as a percentage is
300/11 x 100 = 2727.27 %
which would make sense if, say, you were talking about an item that cost �11 to make but sold for �300 you could say there's a 2727% mark-up.
You'll have to explain what you are trying to work out if you want the correct answer.
Blaah,I'm sorry,I wasn't making any sense.I've figured it out though.I was uneccessarily turning 30 into 300,making my answer a decimal with numbers that couldn't be changed into a percentage(272%?!)Instead I got 27%,which makes much more sense.Thanks for your comments,though,keen2learn andDave Potts,if I had been doing it right,they would have been dead useful.(I feel so stoopid)
