Left a post -but I would phone the hair dye company -they have a helpline on the packet and they have solutions for everything.
I had to do it once -was for my face ears and arms but they were really good.They deal with this everyday.

Whaaat!? OK, sensible answer, smear a bit of dog food on aforementioned stain, when the fearsome Mrs Doll is relaxing on the sofa tempt the mutt out of your handbag with said garment and make it run into the living room with it in it�s gob. Dog�s in the doghouse, you�re in the clear. Job done.

When i have my hair dyed in a saloon if they get dye on my clothes they spray the stain with hairspray and when i get home i wash the item as usual and it all comes out
