How do send Fax's via my modem?

Can someone tell how to send a fax via my modem? What do i have to? I'm using win 98, and office 2000.

Windows 95 used to have a built in fax program, Microsoft Fax, which appears to be missing from Windows 98, so you will need a third party utility. Have a look at www.winfiles.com - windows software - windows95/98 software - productivity tools - fax tools for a selection of freeware and shareware fax programs. When you send a fax from your PC, you use the modem as you would a printer, i.e you "print" to the modem and insert the phone number of the recipient.
