Caregiver wrong doing
My grandfather died last year leaving a large estate behind without a valid will. My Uncle was his caregiver for a year. After my grandpa's passing my Uncle couldnt get bonded to be administrator of his estate.. but I could, so I took on the job myself. I found that he got a Power of attorney 10 days before he passed... he cashed in a 54,000 cd the day before he passed.. he went to the banks and cleaned out safety deposits boxes within the same week... he wrote checks to himself and signed them POA... he was in the log in sheet at the bank FOUR hours after my granfather passed.... then he came up with a will that left everything to him.... He cleaned out the house including reciepts, boxes, guns, anything valuable.... After my grandfather passed he purchased a 30,000 truck, added additions on the home my grandfather purchased for him, and hired a lawyer, all without a JOB! Now I am no genious but this seems a little too decieptful. My grandfathers medical records show he had dementia, and was dellusional. I know something is not right. I am so disgusted and I have an estate lawyer that is telling me I dont have enough proof, I have contacted the county prosecutor, the police dept, the senator, govenor, attorney general and all the judges in that area... and have gotten nowhere... I just want justice for my grandfather so he can rest in peace! By the way I am not an heir and I get nothing from this esate. Does anyone have a similar situation or any suggestions? Thank you.
