As I don't know your situation, all I can say is that if you have tried your best to assure your partner of your honesty and they don't believe you, then your relationship is in trouble.
I agree with the answers given.
How would you feel if your closest friend did not believe you? Think about that for a minute. All good relationships are built on trust. Without that you have nothing.
Through personal experience I know that people that don't believe you are usually the ones with something to hide themselves and/or have low self esteem and need to build confidence and learn to love themselves, but only you can look at things and work that out for yourself.
Best of luck with things.
If, as above, it is something that is fairly trivial then it is probably worth just dropping it rather than trying and trying to convince your partner. If your partner continues to to disbelieve and continues to go on about it and act funny then they either need to grow up and start trusting you or realise that with that kind of distrust the relationship does not have much of a future.
Good luck.
