why are all the goldiggers female

With the obvious few exceptions, most notable goldiggers are women, boobs and no brains. My friend C, has money, nice chap, wants an honest relationship. He is inundated with women just after his money, he is no oil painting but he is a real good lad. He is so used by them i am really angry about it, lots of them. The women that chase him are ALL users. Thing is, women with money are usually users as well, stroppy bitches some of them. I know i am generalising to some degree, but you must know where i am coming from.
Ladies please don't argue this point merely because you are a woman, be honest about it.

I think your friend has just had a bad experience with a few bad eggs..we are not all the same. There must be a reason why these sort of people gravitate towards him?
I agree with a previous post..perhaps if he is known for being a bit flash (which is not a bad thing if you work hard for it) that maybe he could try be a bit more discreet about it.

I have a friend who has always gone for the laid back kind of bloke who is happy holding fort over a BBQ enjoying a cold beer..anyway, a few years ago she hooked up with this bloke who is totally the opposite. Loads of money, nice car, massive houses, quite highly strung. Been a bit of a ladies man in the past...i guess thats what confidence gives you! but he is the most boring bloke i have ever met. I dread going round for dinner as all he talks about is his stocks and shares.

My point is that his money kind of took over his personality to the point that it was who he was...nobody ever gets to see him laid back and just being a bit normal....and that makes normal/genuine people feel uncomfortable so now the only people they hang out with (now married) is friends with money.

Maybe elements off this could ring true with your friends (although i'm not saying he's a muppett like my friends husband).

And also in some cases men tend to go for the WAG trophy girlfriend...which to be honest is generally quite a shallow person anyway...if men changed their perspective and gave the girls who arn't perfect a second glance then everyone would be much better off!!!

Ohhh and one more other suggestion that i think would be good...is that maybe trying to meet someone in places that me might not usually frequent!..try changing tactics.

I really hope your friend finds someone soon...and its nice that you are looking out for him. Well done.

We are not all like that Topo. I have worked for 20 years since I was 17, own my own house and live on my own. It would be nice to meet a man who has similar things too.

As a general rule; Woman are far more materialistic than men and will happily embark on a relationship if it offers financial security.

Men are far more shallow when it comes to looks and will happily date a women based on physical features alone.

I don't like working and although I own several properties and have had a successful career in the Fashion Industry, I must say, I enjoy having a rich partner who is happy to look after me, which means I only need work part-time. (Mind you, I worked part-time before I met him too).

MY friend, does not go looking for girls, he hasn't the confidence. But the schemers out there have no qualms in tracking him down. He is not at all flash, he has old motorbikes and he lives on a smallholding, sorry Sara, no pool. He will make a really good husband, if he could find a really good wife. Thanks for your comments.

Unfortunately lots of us would make good wives or husbands but you just gotta wait until it happens and you find the right person...its the situation lots of us are in!...unfortunately :) I'm sure you friend will find his Mrs Right.

yeah, i'm sorry to say that i have a few friends like that. They know there're hot and they just use men for stuff. I must admitt that when i go out if i'm dancing with a guy i do think he should buy me drinks but if i'm out on a date it's 50 50. I went out with some one that was just using me for money and sex and i didn't relize it unti it was too late.
Never mind i guess you learn from your mistakes.
You should tell your friend not to let people take advantage of him, there are some nice girls out there.
