What happened to global warming then?

Tropical summers, Mediterranian climate, exotic fruit and animals in GB. Last year the media said we should start getting used to it. The govt say it is happening, so it's got be, must be true, mustn't it? Got to watch your carbon footprint, re-cycle, be more conscientious about the environment. That way, you'll enable your council and the govt to fleece you in the name of environmental protection. We're all being conned! The environment and the climate have been changing since time began.

It may not feel like global warming outside at the moment that's for sure! Yes the climate has always changed but we just can't be certain if we are now in a period of irreversible warming or not and whether it is manmade. I have an open mind on the subject.
