vets in newquay, cornwall

We are going to Perranporth in Cornwall soon for 2 weeks and taking Chester our dog with us. Chester has epilepsy and when he fits he usually needs vet treatment. Does anyone know of the best vet in the Perrenporth/Newquay area? It must be a 24 hours vets as Chester usually fits during the night. He has only had 2 periods of fits so far this year but as anyone knows who have animals they tend to get ill at the most inconvenient times. Thanks

There are some vet's surgeries listed online, but you can't tell which the best ones would be. Your best bet would be to ring the local tourist information centre for the area, or ask the place where you're staying, they should have contact numbers and they'll have some better local knowledge

Thanks, I just thought someone might live local and be able to recommend a decent vet. When we went away last year he didn't fit but instead got bitten by an adder! We had only been there for a couple of hours and the dog couldn't walk for the entire week of our holiday.

My vet is in Truro so can�t recommend any over that way, there is an emergency vets just off the A30 on the A390 to Truro, I think they are open all night
