diesel to gas

Hi all , I have a mercedes vito van, does anyone know of the cost to convert to gas from diesel and would i be better off financially if i did so ? many thanks

I wasn't aware that this could be done, as it would need an ignition system, spark plugs and all that,

Or were you thinking of changing engines completely, if so , i would not think it would be a good idea, taking into account the rising cost of diesel.

im certain you can only convert petrol engines..

Yep, sorry. Changing from petrol to LPG is fairly painless, but from diesel will require most of a new engine
