are we proud of were we were born , iam of my northern roots but sad at how the place around me has changed some for the good but alot for the bad maybe thats more about the world today wyx

I live in Stoke, but I was born in Wolverhampton.

I am neither proud or ashamed of that - it's simply an accident of birth.

This is why I cannot get worked up with people who moan about immigrants taking 'our' jobs in 'our' country.

By a similar accident of birth, I could be begging in a ditch in Calcutta, so i accept my fortune, and I appreciate it every day - but I don't happen to think it is my right.
