Help find an answer Please.

I have got a vauxhall astra 1.4 16v 51 plate. Its been in the garage numerous times since the engine light came on and no one can seen to find what the problem is. The diagnostic said that it had a misfire and the mechanic changed the coil pack and the spark plugs, few days later it happened again, so he thought it might just be a faulty coil pack so he changed it but the problem was still there he has took the cylinder head of cleaned the valves and flushed the engine changed the ERG valve since then other mechanics have looked at it and said the same thing. The light is off at the moment but performance of my car has got worse, when driving in slow traffic it is like it has kangaroo petrol and all the lights are coming on then it cuts out I'm sick of spending money on it and I need an answer to the problem if any one can help me PLEASE!!!!

Hi, Have they tried the Fuel Sensor on the Exhaust, If these are faulty they will give the ECU the wrong signals.

Check the fuel it could be contaminared, this can cause a miss fire

hi iknow it sounds simple but have you tried changing the petrol filter,if its clogged it will also produce these symtoms

seems that you should change the mechanic,
if they've gone to all that trouble at your expense
