Clare Grogan on Celeb Masterchef

Did anyone else think she looked really rough? She's supposed to be 46 but had more wrinkles than my gran (who's in her 80s) and also seem to have a funny mark on her face. Anyone know if she has been burned or something? That's what it looked like.

Leave the woman alone. She's had the scar on her face since she was seventeen and now you've noticed! Well done you. And as for a few wrinkles, they never hurt anybody - ask your gran. I think Clare Grogan is a talented and beautiful woman. Now how about the funny marks on your face� ?

I was just thinking the opposite, i thought how well she looked last night considering she wasn't plastered in professional make up or airbrushed!

Can you blame celebrities for 'going under the knife'and trying to hold onto their looks for as long as possible? Here's someone who's not a teenager, growing older gracefully and quite naturally showing some lines and getting slated because she has wrinkles.

As I recall, she fell of her bike as a child, hence the scar, but I may be wrong (?)

I did an interview with her for local radio when Altered Images were just starting - I have a 12" 'Happy Birthday" signed by all the band.

I met up with her on a TV shoot a few years later, I was working for 'Melody Maker. Previously, an MM journalist had made reference to her scar in a feature, and she refused to have anything to do with the paper ever after, so when I got within three feet of her, and her PA said where i was from, she threw a purple and refused to be interviewed!

I seem to remember watching Altered Images playing live on Saturday Super Store ( with Mike Reid ) http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/classic/saturdaysupe rstore/ and they were all dancing around on a very small set when the bass player whacked Claire accross the face with the end of his guitar, blood was pouring from her cheek and they cut a comercial... god how sad am I ?.... don't answer that!...
