how do you change the headlamp bulb on a 1993 corsa? There seems to be some sort of clip that does'nt want to come out.

I seem to remember having the same problem on a 93 Astra.  From memory, there is a thin bent wire clip that holds the rubber casing/light bulb in place.  It isn't designed to come out - by firmly squeezing the ends together, (or moving them apart - it's ages since I did this) it frees the clip and the clip swings out of place but stays attached.  The bulb then comes out quite easily.

Getting hold of a Haynes manual for the car is certainly worth it, as it will soon save its cost in swearbox money.
