I have just made some american pancakes and bouth some maple syrup to put on them. Can someone please tell me why in America when you have them they taste really nice, the maple syrup is beautiful. But over here the syrup is thin and quite tasteless.?
Real maple syrup here in the U.S. is often blended with cane sugar syrup or even molasses for added flavor and texture.
