I usually buy an out of date loaf of bread from Tesco once or twice a week for the birds in my garden.
Today there wasn't any so going past the bakery section I asked the Guy, '' did he have any bread scraps etc for the birds, '' He said he had, but it has to be thrown out as its a health and safety rule.
legend is always abusive to Rtaxron.
it a great possibility it's him. and maybe
he's sharing the name with others.
look at the spelling and grammar
of previous post. not legend style or my style.
i used to work in a bakery and we had to do the same, you may say its for the birds but really want it for yourself and then afterwards are ill and sue the place!! rotten i know but thats how it works
I work in a Co-op and the amount of food we throw away is almost criminal.
I've asked the manager several times if I could take the food home, for us to eat (the Boo household has stomachs like asbestos anyway thanks to years of my dodgy cooking!) only to be told no due to H&S rules.
Ditto ^ we have same problem when i do the waste it breaks my heart.
on tuesday, due to stock take we had 46 of watse stored in the freezer (dropped loaves, danish pastries, freezer goods etc).
we get people coming in asking for stale bread but i have to say no.
